Ensoñación (유나 백일몽)

Ensoñación, or 유나 백일몽 in Korean, emerges from those fragile and luminous moments when my daughter Yuna moves between sleep and wakefulness. Moments in which reality softens, time loses definition, and everything seems to float in a suspended calm.

The piece does not attempt to capture an exact memory, but rather the feeling that remains afterward: tenderness, wonder, and a deep emotional connection. The music unfolds delicately, as if afraid of breaking the spell, allowing each note to breathe and slowly dissolve.

Ensoñación is a deeply personal composition in which fatherhood becomes sound. There is no nostalgia or melancholy, but instead a serene gaze toward a present moment that is known to be unrepeatable. It is a tribute to the mystery of growing, dreaming, and existing in that in-between space where everything feels possible.
